Role Overview

As a Network Engineer Trainee at Nmobile, you will support the team in maintaining fiber and wireless networks. You will assist in troubleshooting network issues, ensuring security compliance, and improving system performance. This role is ideal for individuals with a technical mindset and a desire to develop professional expertise in network engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage fiber and wireless networks, including related software, applications, and configurations
• Assist in disaster recovery operations and data backups
• Support the implementation of network security measures to protect data, applications, and hardware
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Replace or repair defective network hardware components as needed
• Monitor and maintain virus protection and email applications
• Track network performance and recommend improvements where necessary
• Collaborate with network users to resolve technical issues
• Use monitoring consoles to oversee network and computer system activities
• Coordinate and control user access to computer networks
• Plan, install, and test networking devices and computer hardware

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 0–5 years of relevant work experience
• Basic understanding of network systems and configurations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
