Job Title: Operational Standards and HSE Manager

Role Overview
As the Operational Standards and HSE Manager, you will be responsible for leading the strategic development and implementation of operational standards and HSE policies across all areas of the organization, including subsea, marine, logistics, mobility, bases, offices, and accommodations. Your role is critical in ensuring compliance with regulatory, statutory, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee operational standards across the organization.
- Enhance workplace safety and compliance.
- Optimize cost and time for remote participation in safety meetings.
- Develop and execute safety campaigns to improve operational safety.
- Establish structured HSE competency development programs.
- Strengthen the administrative and managerial capabilities of the HSE team.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Competencies:
- Audit & Inspection: Expertise in audit methodologies, gap analysis, and closure recommendations.
- HSE Culture: Ability to promote and lead HSE awareness across the organization.
- Marine Standards: Strong knowledge of industry standards, including OVID, ISM, IMCA, and OSM standards.
- Oil & Gas Industry Knowledge: Understanding of industry trends, best practices, and networking within the sector.
- Risk Management: Experience with risk assessment tools and mitigation strategies.
- HSE Regulations: Familiarity with national and international HSE laws (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISO14001, OSHA, etc.).
- Incident Investigation: Competency in analyzing and managing incidents, including root cause analysis and reporting.
Operational Competencies:
- Communication: Ability to persuade, influence, and effectively deliver key messages.
- Organization: Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Decision-Making: Capability to act, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Reporting: Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Collaboration: Skilled in managing change, working across diverse teams, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leadership: Ability to manage cross-functional projects and implement best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- A postgraduate degree in Sciences, Engineering, HSE, or Management (M.Sc., MBA, etc.).
- Minimum of 10 years of postgraduate experience in a core HSE role.
- At least 7 years of HSE management experience within a multinational company in the marine or oil & gas industry.
- Proficiency in English (Professional level).
