Position: Operations Manager (Unpaid Internship)
Type: Volunteer / Internship (Unpaid)
Duration: 3–6 months
Location: Remote (Work from Home)
Time Commitment: 15–30 hours per week
Role Overview
The Operations Manager Intern will play an essential role in improving our internal processes, coordinating projects, and ensuring team efficiency. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about leadership, organization, and helping mission-driven teams achieve consistent results. You will gain hands-on experience in operations management while contributing to meaningful projects that shape the future of African entrepreneurship.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate team activities to ensure tasks and deliverables are completed on time
- Manage project boards using tools such as Notion, ClickUp, or Google Sheets
- Conduct weekly meetings with team leads and prepare performance reports
- Support documentation and create standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Collaborate directly with the CEO to turn ideas into actionable strategies
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and motivate team members
- Familiarity with online collaboration tools like Google Workspace, Notion, or Trello
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently
- Interest in startups, business growth, and leadership development
