Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Weighbridge Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing weighbridge operations, ensuring accurate weighing of materials, maintaining proper records, and supporting the site’s logistics and inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge to record all incoming and outgoing materials.

• Verify vehicle details, material type, and quantities before and after loading or unloading.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date weight records using manual and computerized systems.

• Generate and issue weighment slips and ensure documentation accuracy for accounting and inventory.

• Coordinate with the dispatch, stores, and procurement departments for daily reconciliations.

• Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the weighbridge area.

• Report any irregularities or discrepancies in vehicle or material data.

• Support weighbridge equipment calibration and maintenance when required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of a High School Certificate or ITI qualification; a Diploma is an advantage.

• At least 5 years of experience operating an electronic weighbridge.

• Proficiency in basic computer applications and weighbridge software.

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• High level of integrity and reliability in managing records.
