Role Overview
We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, offering professional advice on drug use, and ensuring that all pharmaceutical practices comply with regulatory standards. You will collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medications for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
- Review and verify prescriptions to avoid potential drug interactions.
- Educate patients on proper medication use, side effects, and storage.
- Maintain detailed records of dispensed medications and patient profiles.
- Ensure compliance with national drug laws and healthcare regulations.
- Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and place timely medication orders.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree.
- Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist from a recognized pharmacy council or board.
- Previous experience in a hospital or community pharmacy is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Salary
N200,000 – N300,000 per month.
