Job Description
The Pharmacy Technician will assist a licensed pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance with pharmaceutical procedures. You will also support daily pharmacy operations, manage prescriptions, and maintain inventory.
Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications
- Receive and verify prescription orders
- Label and package medications accurately
- Handle inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and restocking supplies
- Keep accurate patient records and prescription files
Requirements
- Diploma or certification as a Pharmacy Technician from a recognized institution
- Valid registration with the Pharmacy Council or relevant regulatory body
- Previous experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy is an added advantage
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and dosage forms
- Ability to use pharmacy software and systems efficiently
Salary
N120,000 – N150,000 Monthly
