Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Location: Warri, Okuokoko – Delta
Employment Type: Full-time
Role Overview
The Pharmacy Technician will work closely with pharmacists to support daily pharmacy operations. This includes preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring that patients receive quality service and accurate information about their prescriptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing, labeling, and dispensing prescription and non-prescription medications.
- Maintain accurate records of all medications dispensed.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering, receiving, and storing medications.
- Provide patients with clear information on medication use and possible side effects.
- Support compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma in Pharmacy Technology from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration and license with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or healthcare pharmacy setting.
- Good understanding of pharmaceutical products and terminology.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
- Must reside in or around Okuokoko/Ughelli, Delta State.
