Pacific School was founded in October 1994 as Pacific Comprehensive College, a co-educational day and boarding institution committed to academic excellence. The school was originally established to serve primary school graduates whose parents valued a strong academic foundation. While the early focus was on Science and Mathematics, the curriculum has since expanded to include Arts and Social Sciences.
Approved by the Lagos State Government and accredited by both the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) in 1998 and the National Examinations Council (NECO) in 2001, Pacific School is known for its dedication to quality education and holistic student development. Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Physics Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong subject mastery and an ability to inspire students through effective teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Physics lessons that align with the school’s academic standards
- Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and performance
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and other academic activities
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the school management
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Education, or a related discipline
- Proven teaching experience in a reputable secondary school
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A passion for education and student development
Salary
₦70,000 – ₦100,000 per month
