Role Overview

The Plant Operations and Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing daily plant activities, ensuring equipment reliability, and maintaining safety standards. The role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance, supervises technical teams, and supports project operations with fully functional equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily plant operations and ensure efficient use of equipment
• Track equipment performance, productivity, and lifespan
• Oversee installation, servicing, repairs, and replacement of equipment
• Monitor equipment condition and implement preventive maintenance plans
• Maintain accurate records of service hours, repairs, and certifications
• Reduce equipment downtime through effective maintenance strategies
• Enforce compliance with safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment
• Ensure proper cleaning, storage, and handling of all equipment
• Lead troubleshooting and ensure quick resolution of technical issues
• Work with site engineers and project teams to support plant activities
• Supervise technical staff and ensure high standards of performance
• Collaborate with departments to improve workflow and reduce resource waste

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Strong understanding of construction equipment and plant maintenance
• Minimum of five years of experience in plant operations or construction
• Experience with field engineering layout is an advantage
