Position Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Assessment and Care
  • Apply admission and discharge protocols using the EMR system
  • Monitor patient conditions, identify needs, and provide appropriate care and advice
  • Observe, interpret, and report symptoms to physicians
  • Develop individual care plans in collaboration with medical officers, therapists, and dietitians
  • Accompany patients to follow-up appointments
Clinical Procedures
  • Perform baseline checks: temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, SPO2, fasting blood sugar
  • Administer wound care and prescribed medications (oral, IV, IM, suppository, etc.)
  • Provide PEG feeding and assisted feeding for patients with swallowing difficulties
  • Carry out tracheostomy care and resuscitation procedures, including suctioning and oxygen administration
  • Perform cannulation, phlebotomy, and monitor IV fluids
  • Record intake and output charts accurately
  • Conduct routine ward rounds and participate in clinical handovers
  • Prepare detailed nursing reports
Safety and Hygiene
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene and safety by disinfecting equipment and sanitizing surfaces
  • Prepare sterile packs and equipment for aseptic procedures
  • Report patient falls, medication errors, or other adverse events promptly
Professional Development
  • Participate in internal and external trainings, workshops, and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in nursing practice
  • Strong clinical and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently within a team
Salary and Benefits
  • Net monthly salary: N150,000 – N170,000
