Role Summary
We are hiring a skilled Reservoir Engineer to support and manage oil and gas reservoir assets. The ideal candidate will bring advanced engineering knowledge and hands-on experience in performance monitoring, optimization, and field development planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical projects and analyze field performance to improve recovery rates
- Collaborate with engineering teams and engage business stakeholders to solve challenges and optimize workflows
- Generate valuable insights through data analysis and use of numerical and analytical models
- Guide and mentor team members while driving overall engineering performance
- Strengthen technical capabilities across the team through coaching and training
- Coordinate closely with teams in wells, development planning, and geoscience to execute effective field development strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, or related Engineering fields
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in reservoir engineering
- Strong background in leading engineering teams and integrated reservoir projects
- Proven experience in monitoring reservoir performance, troubleshooting, and development optimization
- In-depth knowledge of reservoir engineering principles
- Solid foundation in fluid mechanics, porous media flow, and computational fluid dynamics
- Hands-on experience with software tools such as IPM, Eclipse, Petrel RE, Intersect, or CMG
Salary Range
₦3,000,000 – ₦3,500,000 per month
