Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and organized Retail Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will manage staff performance, maintain high store standards, and ensure profitability through effective sales strategies and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase customer base and boost profitability.
• Work with HR to train, motivate, and mentor sales staff for peak performance.
• Conduct quarterly and ad-hoc stock counts to monitor inventory and prevent losses.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards to promote brand satisfaction.
• Enforce discipline and ensure compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain attractive merchandising and uphold top hygiene standards.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of company equipment to reduce costs.
• Research and propose innovative retail strategies to enhance competitiveness.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners for business efficiency.
• Analyze buying trends and customer feedback to inform management decisions.
• Conduct staff performance appraisals and identify training needs.
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Handle staff and customer concerns effectively and professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Qualification: B.Sc. or HND in Accounting or a related discipline.
• Experience: 6 months to 1 year in a retail supermarket, preferably in inventory management and sales supervision.
• Gender: Female applicants preferred.
• Location: Must reside in Ibeju-Lekki or nearby areas.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary

₦150,000 – ₦300,000 monthly.
