Position Overview:

Job Title: Risk Compliance Officer

Location: Nigeria

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement risk management and compliance frameworks for financial services and e-commerce activities
• Identify, assess, and monitor business, financial, operational, and regulatory risks
• Ensure compliance with NDPR, GDPR, CBN regulations, PCI-DSS, AML/CFT laws, and other applicable standards
• Conduct regular audits and compliance reviews across departments
• Work with regulators, auditors, and legal teams on compliance-related matters
• Investigate compliance breaches, recommend corrective actions, and oversee implementation
• Deliver staff training and awareness programs on compliance and risk management
• Prepare periodic risk and compliance reports for management and the board

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as CRISC, CAMS, ISO 31000, CISA, or other compliance credentials are an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in risk and compliance within financial services or e-commerce
• Strong understanding of Nigerian regulatory requirements and international standards
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
