Job Summary

Sooyah Bistro is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and supply of top-quality ingredients and materials across all branches. The ideal candidate will ensure every kitchen is fully stocked on time and within budget, supporting smooth operations and happy customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement process — from supplier sourcing to purchase order and final delivery.
• Identify and engage reliable food suppliers and service vendors to maintain consistent quality.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery timelines for cost-effective procurement.
• Build and sustain positive vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Evaluate supplier performance on quality, pricing, and delivery timeliness.
• Collaborate with the Inventory and Kitchen teams to plan restocks and forecast material needs.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders with complete documentation and accurate reporting.
• Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure all procurement practices align with internal policies, food safety, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally in a restaurant, FMCG, or food production setting.
• Strong track record in vendor sourcing, negotiation, and cost management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory or procurement management tools.
• Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and a proactive work attitude.
