Role Overview

The Social Media Manager will oversee and enhance the online presence of a growing food vendor business. The role involves creating engaging content, managing daily posts, responding to customer enquiries, and helping the brand attract and retain customers through active social media engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the business’s social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)

• Create engaging content showcasing meals, promotions, customer experiences, and daily activities

• Plan and schedule consistent posts across platforms

• Respond promptly to comments, messages, and enquiries

• Capture and edit product photos and videos

• Use Canva and CapCut to design graphics and produce short-form content

• Track engagement metrics and recommend improvements

• Collaborate with the business team to develop weekly content themes

• Stay updated on food, lifestyle, and social media trends

Requirements

• Minimum OND / NCE qualification

• Demonstrated experience managing social media pages

• Strong skills in content creation (photos, videos, captions)

• Proficiency in Canva and CapCut

• Good communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently

• Interest in food, cooking, and customer engagement

Preferred Qualities

• Creative mindset and willingness to try new ideas

• Ability to work in a fast-paced small business environment

• Familiarity with TikTok and Reels trends in the food niche

Salary

N100,000 monthly
