Role Overview
We are currently seeking a Social Media Representative to join a dynamic music label team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about music, understands the pulse of social media, and knows how to create content that resonates with fans.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow social media accounts for the music label and its signed artists
- Create engaging short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, behind-the-scenes clips)
- Design eye-catching graphics and promotional materials (e.g., album covers, countdowns, tour posters, quotes, and lyrics)
- Repurpose content from performances, studio sessions, and interviews
- Plan and schedule posts using a content calendar
- Stay on top of trends to maximize engagement and viral potential
- Write captivating captions and calls-to-action that connect with music lovers
- Interact with followers via comments, messages, and reposts
- Work closely with artists, managers, and the marketing team to develop effective promotional campaigns
Requirements
- Hands-on experience managing social media for musicians, influencers, or entertainment brands
- Skilled in video editing using tools like CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Pro
- Proficient in graphic design with tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator
- Strong storytelling abilities and an eye for visual rhythm
- Familiarity with music and content trends across TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Passion for music, especially gospel, afrobeats, or inspirational genres
Bonus Skills
- Motion graphics or lyric video animation experience
- Knowledge of YouTube SEO and channel growth strategies
- Basic photography or live content creation skills
- Understanding of music distribution and digital streaming platforms (DSPs)
