Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing accurate ultrasound examinations, producing clear imaging results, and supporting physicians in diagnosing and managing patient care. The role requires excellent technical ability, patient care skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain ultrasound equipment for various diagnostic procedures

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations in line with clinical standards and patient needs

• Produce and interpret diagnostic images to assist in medical evaluations and treatment

• Maintain accurate records of all scans and imaging reports

• Address and manage patient concerns with professionalism and empathy before, during, and after scans

• Refer patients to other medical professionals when further evaluation is required

• Provide health education and post-examination guidance to patients and their families

• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety procedures, and best practices in sonography

Qualifications and Skills

• Relevant certification or qualification in Medical Sonography or Radiography

• Minimum of 6 years of practical experience as a Sonographer

• Excellent technical knowledge of ultrasound scanning procedures and image interpretation

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care

• Ability to work efficiently and maintain accuracy under pressure

• Good record-keeping and attention to detail

• Commitment to continuous professional development

Salary

₦200,000 – ₦300,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
