Role Overview

We are currently hiring a Studio and Equipment Manager to oversee the daily operations of our creative studio and maintain all production equipment. This role is critical to ensuring smooth studio operations, proper equipment usage, and top-quality support for production teams.

Key Responsibilities

Studio Operations:

  • Manage daily studio activities, ensuring spaces are clean, organized, and production-ready
  • Coordinate studio bookings and schedules for internal teams
  • Implement studio policies and ensure a safe working environment
  • Maintain an efficient and creative workspace

Equipment Oversight:

  • Maintain a complete inventory of all production equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear
  • Perform regular equipment checks, troubleshooting, and minor repairs
  • Recommend and facilitate equipment upgrades or purchases when necessary
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of all equipment

Health & Safety Compliance:

  • Enforce safety standards and protocols in the studio
  • Provide training on safe equipment handling to all users
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations

Collaboration & Support:

  • Work closely with photographers, videographers, creatives, and designers to support their studio needs
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and external technicians when required
  • Provide feedback and report equipment status to management

Technical Support:

  • Set up and test equipment before shoots and recordings
  • Offer on-the-spot technical support during productions
  • Assist with live shoots, recordings, or broadcast sessions

Budget & Procurement:

  • Manage studio-related budgets and ensure cost-effective operations
  • Source, purchase, and negotiate equipment or repair services as needed
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Film, Photography, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience managing a production studio or professional equipment
  • Strong technical skills in audio, video, and photography gear
  • Excellent troubleshooting, multitasking, and communication abilities
  • Knowledge of studio safety best practices
