Role Overview

The Tax and Audit Accountant will manage tax compliance processes and lead internal audit activities. The position focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance while identifying tax efficiency opportunities and supporting financial accuracy across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns to ensure full compliance

• Monitor tax deductions and remittances from vendors

• Lead internal audit engagements including planning execution and reporting

• Review financial statements for accuracy and regulatory alignment

• Provide tax guidance to internal and external stakeholders

• Liaise with regulatory bodies such as LIRS and FIRS

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or related discipline

• Professional certification such as CITN or equivalent

• 2 to 4 years of tax and audit experience

• Strong understanding of tax laws and accounting principles

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities

• Ability to perform in a fast paced environment
