Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Telecoms Rigger to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working at heights, installing, and maintaining telecommunications equipment. You will play a vital role in ensuring our communication infrastructure remains strong, reliable, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications and wireless antenna systems.
- Handle fiber cabling and splicing tasks with precision.
- Conduct rigging and climbing operations safely and efficiently.
- Operate hand and power tools for installation and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to complete projects on time.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience working at heights, ideally in telecommunications or construction.
- Proven background as a telecommunications rigger or in a related field.
- Certified in tower climbing and proficient in rigging techniques, knots, and safety practices.
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications equipment and fiber systems.
- Skilled in fiber cabling, splicing, and antenna installation.
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to perform tasks at heights.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
