Role Overview

The Warehouse & Logistics Manager will oversee all warehouse operations, logistics processes, and inventory management at the Ojodu Berger / OPIC branch. This role involves coordinating product storage, supervising warehouse staff, managing deliveries, and ensuring efficient distribution across all branches. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in logistics and warehouse management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce warehouse policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations and compliance with safety standards.
• Supervise warehouse staff, including loaders, forklift operators, and supervisors, ensuring productivity and teamwork.
• Plan and coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods to maximize space and operational efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct audits, and ensure accurate stock records to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Implement inventory management techniques such as FIFO/LIFO and ABC analysis to optimize stock control.
• Manage transportation, including route planning, scheduling, and cost negotiations, to ensure timely deliveries.
• Track and monitor shipments and logistics activities to ensure accuracy and transparency in operations.
• Organize warehouse layouts, oversee labeling, and maintain accurate records for inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and health standards through regular inspections and training.
• Handle logistics-related issues promptly and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–10 years of proven experience in warehouse and logistics management.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience managing logistics systems and coordinating large-scale operations.
• Proximity to Ojodu Berger / OPIC area is an advantage.
