Job Summary
We are looking for a Warehouse Manager who will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of renewable energy equipment and materials. This role is essential to ensuring that solar components, batteries, and other materials are handled with precision to support timely project installations and service delivery. The position also requires strong organizational skills and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate stock levels of solar panels, inverters, batteries, cables, and tools
- Track inventory movements, returns, and reorder points using inventory systems
Warehouse Operations Oversight
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, packing, storage, and dispatch
- Implement efficient layout and storage procedures to optimize workflow
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Conduct safety drills and enforce the use of personal protective equipment
Team Leadership
- Supervise, guide, and train warehouse staff
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to procedures
Shipping and Receiving
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with transport and project teams
- Verify deliveries and shipments against documentation
Asset Tracking and Maintenance
- Maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts and tools
- Ensure proper storage and handling of sensitive renewable energy components
Documentation and Reporting
- Keep accurate records of stock reconciliation, damage, and movement logs
- Prepare and submit daily or weekly inventory reports
Loss Prevention
- Identify and manage risks of stock loss, theft, or damage
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or OND in a relevant field
- Minimum of 1 year experience in warehouse or inventory management
Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 Monthly
