Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and creative Web Developer experienced in PHP, Laravel, and MySQL to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing dynamic websites and web applications that align with the company’s objectives. You will ensure all platforms are functional, user-friendly, and visually engaging across multiple devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP, Laravel, and MySQL.
• Ensure website structure and code are optimized for performance, scalability, and browser compatibility.
• Create responsive, mobile-friendly designs for seamless user experiences.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, implementing improvements where needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop, and deploy new web features.
• Utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX to enhance interactivity and functionality.
• Develop visually appealing layouts using Canva or other design tools.
• Maintain data backups and ensure system recovery plans are in place.
• Test and debug applications to ensure smooth operation and usability.
• Continuously monitor user feedback and analytics to improve website performance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 3–6 years of proven experience in web development and programming.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, Laravel framework, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with jQuery, AJAX, and other web development tools.
• Design proficiency with Canva or similar design software.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across teams.
• Microsoft or Cisco Certification is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) and web-based applications.
