Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for joining metal parts using various welding techniques, ensuring precision, quality, and adherence to safety standards. This role requires technical skill, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks using suitable techniques such as MIG, TIG, arc, or gas welding.
• Prepare and align materials before welding, ensuring proper setup of tools and equipment.
• Inspect welded joints for strength, accuracy, and quality.
• Identify and correct welding defects when necessary.
• Maintain safety procedures, including the use of protective gear and compliance with all safety guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of SSCE certificate.
• Trade Test Certificate from the Federal Ministry of Labour or any recognized welding institute.
• 1 to 4 years of relevant work experience in welding or related fields.
• Strong understanding of welding tools, materials, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is an added advantage.
