Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced Accountant to support our financial operations. The role involves preparing financial reports, managing tax processes, supervising audits, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing insights that support budgeting, cost control, and overall profitability. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, cash flow reports, and profit and loss statements.
• Prepare and file tax returns in line with current laws and regulations.
• Carry out internal audits and support external audit processes.
• Ensure all financial records comply with regulations and accounting standards.
• Analyse financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile bank statements.
• Develop and manage organizational budgets.
• Provide financial guidance to management on business decisions.
• Manage payroll and ensure accurate expense tracking.

Qualifications and Skills

• BSc or HND in Accounting or Business Administration.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Busy Accounting Software and Microsoft Office.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain financial data clearly.
• Professional certifications such as ICAN or ACCA are an added advantage.
