Role Overview

We are seeking a detail focused Accountant to support our finance operations at our recycling facility. This role is responsible for collecting, checking, and costing production and inventory data related to aluminum and copper recycling.
The successful candidate will help ensure accurate records, proper cost tracking, and timely financial reports to support daily operations and management decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and confirm daily production figures from the factory
• Record and cost raw materials, work in progress, and finished products
• Monitor inventory movement and reconcile stock records with physical counts
• Prepare cost summaries and assist with production variance reviews
• Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting activities
• Keep proper financial records for audits and internal checks
• Follow company accounting policies and standard accounting practices
• Work closely with production and procurement teams to gather accurate data
• Assist in tracking expenses and monitoring budget usage
• Carry out other accounting tasks assigned by the Finance Manager

Qualifications and Skills

• National Diploma in Accounting only
• HND or BSc holders are not eligible for this role
• One to three years of accounting experience
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage
• Strong attention to numbers and record accuracy
• Basic knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work with data in an organized environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work in Mowe, Ogun State

Salary

Monthly pay ranges from N130,000 to N150,000
