Willers Solutions Limited, on behalf of our client, is looking for a skilled and results-driven Area Manager to lead sales operations within Abia State. This role focuses on managing Over-the-Counter (OTC) and Ethical product lines, supervising field teams, and building lasting partnerships with hospitals, institutions, and distributors in the region.

Job Summary

The Area Manager will be responsible for meeting sales targets, driving market growth, and ensuring effective team performance. The role requires strong leadership, industry knowledge, and the ability to develop strategic relationships that support long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve area sales targets for OTC and Ethical products
• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, institutions, and pharmaceutical distributors
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to shape sales strategies
• Train, coach, and support medical/sales representatives to improve skills and performance
• Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns and product promotions
• Provide timely and accurate sales reports to management
• Conduct regular market visits to monitor activities and strengthen customer engagement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2–3 years of proven experience as an Area Manager
• Strong knowledge of OTC and Ethical product sales
• Familiarity with both institutional and retail pharmaceutical markets
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to travel regularly within assigned territory
