Summary

AA Matthew & Co International Limited is seeking a motivated Audit Trainee to join our growing team. This role supports our accounting and professional services operations in Imobido and aligns with our commitment to delivering high-quality financial and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

• Support local and international accountancy clients.
• Perform bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks and Excel.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare monthly management accounts.
• Collect and analyse financial documents to produce accurate financial reports.
• Assist with audits, tax computations, and preparation of corporation tax returns.
• Maintain ongoing communication and support for clients.
• Promote the organization’s services through social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter). Experience in social media marketing is an advantage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 1–2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice, ideally within a professional services firm.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of QuickBooks is an advantage.
• Currently pursuing a professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN).
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask, handle pressure, and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong computer literacy and familiarity with office equipment.
