Job Title: Auxiliary Nurse
Location: Surulere, Lagos

Responsibilities
Patient Care and Assistance
- Welcome and prepare patients for diagnostic procedures such as X-ray, ultrasound, MRI, CT scan, and laboratory tests
- Provide reassurance to patients by explaining procedures clearly and assisting with mobility where needed
- Monitor patient comfort and respond quickly to basic needs
- Support safe movement and positioning of patients during procedures
Clinical Support
- Measure and record vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration
- Assist doctors, radiographers, and nurses during diagnostic examinations
- Collect and label patient samples such as urine, stool, and swabs when required
- Monitor consumable supplies including syringes, gloves, and disinfectants, and report shortages promptly
Infection Control and Safety
- Maintain clean and organized clinical areas, ensuring readiness for all procedures
- Follow strict infection prevention and control protocols
- Handle and dispose of medical waste safely in compliance with health regulations
Emergency Response
- Provide first aid support in emergency situations until a nurse or doctor takes over
- Report abnormal findings or patient distress immediately to supervising medical staff
Qualifications
- OND qualification in a relevant field
- 1 to 2 years of work experience in a healthcare setting
Salary
N50,000 to N80,000 monthly
