Job Title: Backend Web App Developer (JavaScript / TypeScript Stack)
Location: Badore – Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (Onsite)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Backend Web App Developer with strong experience in Node.js and TypeScript to join our team. You will build and scale backend systems that power real-time web applications. Your work will involve authentication, session management, API development, and database logic using PostgreSQL and other modern tools.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop backend APIs and real-time communication features
• Implement secure authentication and role-based access control
• Manage database schemas, migrations, and optimization using PostgreSQL
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, designers, and product teams
• Integrate services using tools like Supabase, Firebase, or Redis
• Convert Figma prototypes into working backend features
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code using TypeScript
• Maintain version control using Git and GitHub for team collaboration

Required Skills

• 3+ years of backend development experience using Node.js
• Strong command of TypeScript and asynchronous programming
• Solid knowledge of Express.js or Next.js API Routes
• Experience with real-time communication using WebRTC and Socket.IO
• Familiarity with authentication flows using JWT and tools like NextAuth
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL database management and performance tuning
• Practical experience with Backend-as-a-Service platforms like Supabase or Firebase
• Ability to read and implement Figma design logic
• Confident using Git/GitHub in a collaborative workflow

Salary
₦150,000 – ₦200,000 monthly (based on experience)
