Job Title: Biomedical Engineer

Locations: Warri, Delta State and Port Harcourt, Rivers State

Job Summary

The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and proper functioning of biomedical equipment. The role ensures that all medical devices are safe, reliable, and efficient to support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair biomedical equipment
• Provide technical support for medical devices across hospital departments
• Train clinicians and staff on proper and safe equipment usage
• Work with manufacturers and technicians for equipment servicing and support
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and biomedical equipment standards
• Review and recommend medical equipment for procurement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of medical equipment standards and safety guidelines
