Job Title: Blog Virtual Assistant

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos
(Remote, Full-time)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Blog Virtual Assistant to support our digital content team. The right candidate will have strong writing and editing skills, solid experience with blog publishing, and a good understanding of SEO. You will manage publishing workflows, handle editing and optimization, track analytics, and keep content engaging and up to date.

This is a remote role open to candidates based in Nigeria who have reliable internet access and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Upload and format blog posts in WordPress or similar CMS platforms
• Proofread and edit blog content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and SEO alignment
• Conduct keyword research and apply SEO optimization such as metadata, tags, and internal linking
• Manage blog content calendars to ensure consistent publishing
• Collaborate with writers, designers, and contributors for smooth content production
• Source and upload quality royalty-free images for blog posts
• Track blog performance using Google Analytics and suggest improvements
• Repurpose blog content for social media and email newsletters
• Maintain an organized archive of all content
• Stay updated on blogging trends and SEO best practices

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, English, Marketing, or related fields
• At least 3 years of proven experience in blog management, content writing, or virtual assistance
• Must currently reside in Nigeria
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with WordPress or similar CMS tools
• Good knowledge of SEO principles and keyword research tools
• Comfortable with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Canva, Grammarly, Trello/Asana, and Google Analytics
• Reliable internet connection and access to a personal computer
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills

Salary

N75,000 – N125,000 per month
