Role Overview

The Bottle Blowing Machine Operator will run and maintain the bottle blowing machine used to produce PET bottles for our beverage products. The role involves machine setup, monitoring, quality checks, and basic maintenance to ensure smooth production.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the bottle blowing machine to produce PET bottles in the required size and quality
• Adjust machine settings such as temperature, air pressure, and blow cycles for efficient performance
• Load preforms and manage bottle output during production
• Inspect finished bottles for defects such as leaks, uneven thickness, or shape issues
• Conduct regular visual and physical quality checks
• Remove defective products and report repeating faults
• Record daily production output, rejected bottles, and any adjustments made
• Carry out basic maintenance including cleaning, lubrication, and minor mechanical fixes
• Troubleshoot operational issues quickly to prevent downtime
• Report major mechanical problems to the maintenance team
• Follow all safety rules and standard operating procedures
• Maintain strict hygiene standards required in beverage manufacturing
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized
• Work closely with production staff, quality control teams, and maintenance personnel
• Communicate machine performance and production progress to the supervisor

Qualifications and Skills

• SSCE, OND, or Technical School Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of machine operation and mechanical processes
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to solve minor mechanical issues
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment
