Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The successful candidate will manage transactions, provide excellent customer service, and ensure smooth cash operations. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and a friendly attitude to create a positive experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases, handling cash, credit, or debit transactions accurately.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints.
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Monitor and report any discrepancies or suspicious transactions to the supervisor.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and cash-handling guidelines.
• Assist with other tasks as needed, including stocking shelves or supporting team members during busy periods.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role.
• Strong numerical and basic math skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Trustworthy with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus.

Salary

N100,000 per month
