Role Overview

The Cashier will be responsible for handling customer transactions accurately, providing courteous service, and maintaining proper records of all financial transactions. The role requires honesty, attention to detail, and good customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers courteously and handle transactions efficiently

• Receive payments via cash, card, or bank transfer and issue accurate receipts

• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints professionally

• Follow company cash handling, control, and anti-fraud procedures

• Maintain accurate transaction records for accountability and reporting

• Ensure proper use of POS systems and daily cash reconciliation

Qualifications and Skills

• OND, HND, or B.Sc qualification with 0–1 year relevant experience

• Basic mathematical skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately

• Good customer service and communication skills

• Ability to use computers and point-of-sale software

• Professional, honest, reliable, and trustworthy attitude

Salary

N80,000 – N100,000 per month
