Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to join the hotel’s culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a creative approach to cooking, strong knowledge of kitchen operations, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and present high-quality meals according to hotel standards

• Supervise and guide kitchen staff to ensure meals are cooked and presented correctly

• Maintain consistency and creativity in menu planning and daily specials

• Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the kitchen

• Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high performance

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of OND, HND, or BSc in Culinary Arts or related field

• 3–5 years of experience as a chef in a reputable hotel or restaurant, with exposure to both local and international cuisine

• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards

• Creativity and passion for culinary excellence

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively

• Ability to work under pressure and deliver consistent results

• Must reside in Asaba or be willing to relocate

Salary

N100,000 – N180,000 monthly
