Job Title: Chinese Translator

Location: Kama-Otto, Nasarawa

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Chinese Translator to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. The right candidate must be fluent in both Chinese and English, with excellent skills in translation and interpretation. The role involves active communication support, both spoken and written, to ensure smooth collaboration between Chinese and non-Chinese staff.

Responsibilities

• Translate oral and written communication accurately between Chinese and English.
• Interpret conversations during meetings and on-site interactions.
• Support communication between the security team and Chinese management.
• Translate documents including reports, security plans, and patrol updates.
• Assist in supervising daily production activities at the factory.
• Monitor production processes and ensure efficient performance by staff.
• Translate technical training materials, production documents, and meeting notes.
• Act as a cultural bridge, promoting understanding between Chinese and Nigerian staff.

Requirements

• B.Sc degree with 2 to 3 years of experience.
• Proven experience in translation and interpretation, ideally in mining, business, or technical fields.
• Strong command of both written and spoken Chinese and English.
• Fluency in Hausa is an added advantage.
• Previous study or work experience in China is a plus.
• Good management and organizational skills.
• Responsible and dependable personality.

Salary

N250,000 – N300,000 monthly
