We are currently hiring a Civil / Building Engineer to join our development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and supervising the construction of residential and commercial projects.

Role Overview

The Civil / Building Engineer will oversee all technical aspects of real estate construction projects. This includes ensuring that designs meet structural and safety standards, monitoring construction progress, managing project costs, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and supervise the construction of buildings and infrastructure.
• Review architectural and structural drawings to confirm feasibility and compliance with standards.
• Oversee daily site activities to ensure projects meet quality, cost, and timeline expectations.
• Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies while advising on materials and design options.
• Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and contractors to deliver successful outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental laws, and building codes.
• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities, technical reports, and cost estimates.
• Track project progress and provide updates to management on milestones and challenges.
• Inspect materials and workmanship to confirm quality before project completion.
• Provide technical support throughout all project stages.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
• COREN certification or registration in progress is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in real estate development, construction supervision, or structural design.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Civil 3D.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, building standards, and structural principles.
• Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

Salary

₦180,000 – ₦200,000 per month.
