We are currently recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Civil Engineer

Location: Enugu

Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance to project stakeholders and management on engineering requirements for construction, modifications, and structural repairs
• Use design software and tools to create and communicate accurate project designs
• Assess the strength of foundations, concrete, asphalt, or steel through material and soil testing
• Establish design specifications by calculating load requirements, stress factors, water flow rates, and related parameters
• Plan projects using blueprints, survey reports, maps, aerial photographs, and geologic data
• Prepare and present reports including environmental impact statements and right-of-way documentation
• Estimate project costs by determining required materials, equipment, and labor
• Work closely with architects, contractors, and surveyors to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitor construction progress to meet design specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks
• Inspect, repair, and maintain completed projects when required
• Perform other assigned engineering duties as needed

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required, Master’s Degree preferred
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required

Skills and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices
• Proficiency in CAD and other design and data analysis software
• Solid understanding of construction materials, methods, and safety regulations
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work with creativity, accuracy, and attention to detail

Salary

N100,000 – N200,000 monthly
