Job Title: Civil Inspector Engineer Marine
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Purpose
The Civil Inspector Engineer will oversee and support field activities to ensure civil work is executed safely, meets project schedules, adheres to specifications, and is properly measured and recorded.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans, scope, and specifications while identifying any errors or risks.
- Monitor safety practices and support optimal performance of site personnel.
- Record accurate field notes, manage technical documentation, and prepare detailed assessment reports for all structural and civil works.
- Carry out preventive inspections on civil projects, organize schedules, and evaluate job specifications.
- Inspect materials, review work processes, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance with standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Develop civil work specifications, procedures, and planning documents.
- Provide timely responses to client inquiries and recommend repair solutions when required.
- Assess personnel suitability for tasks and contribute to performance evaluations.
- Ensure all civil works comply with project guidelines, industry standards, and quality expectations.
Educational Qualifications
- B.Sc. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering with at least a Second Class Lower Division.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years experience in civil or structural engineering within the oil and gas sector.
- At least 2 years hands-on experience in the construction and maintenance of marine facilities.
