Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Collection Supervisor to guide and support our collections team. The ideal candidate will create effective recovery strategies, manage delinquent accounts, lead team performance, and ensure a smooth and professional debt recovery process.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve debt recovery strategies
• Review customer data to identify patterns in overdue accounts
• Lead and motivate the collections team to meet set targets
• Coach, train, and support team members to improve performance
• Monitor and manage the company’s loan portfolio
• Review and categorize delinquent accounts
• Ensure collection procedures follow company policies
• Maintain positive communication with customers
• Handle escalated issues related to overdue payments
• Ensure all collection practices follow regulatory guidelines
• Prepare reports on collection activities and performance
• Analyze data to identify areas that need improvement

Qualifications and Skills

• HND or B.Sc in Finance, Business Administration, or any related field
• Experience in collections management within financial services or fintech
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Good analytical skills and the ability to interpret data
• Understanding of laws and regulations related to debt collection
• Proficiency in collection tools and software
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
