Role Overview

The Collection Team Leader will manage and guide a team of recovery officers. This role requires strong leadership, good communication skills, and experience in loan recovery. The successful candidate will ensure the team meets targets while following company policies and legal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the recovery team
• Set clear performance targets and monitor team progress
• Train and support team members on recovery processes and best practices
• Track recovery performance and ensure compliance with company rules
• Handle complex or escalated recovery cases
• Resolve team issues and support a positive work environment
• Review reports and prepare performance updates for management
• Develop better recovery strategies to improve efficiency and results
• Ensure all recovery actions are ethical and legally compliant

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in loan recovery or debt collection
• Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to analyze reports and performance data
• Good leadership and people management skills
• Basic computer skills and report writing ability
• Strong understanding of ethical recovery practices

Salary

N120,000 to N180,000 monthly
