Work Schedule: Shift-based (24-hour operation)

Role Overview

We are hiring a Compliance Officer to help ensure that our restaurant operates within all required laws and standards. This role focuses on food safety, staff compliance, proper documentation, and internal monitoring. The ideal candidate will support management and staff in maintaining safe, ethical, and lawful operations at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with food safety, health, labor, and licensing regulations
• Monitor and enforce food handling and hygiene standards
• Conduct routine risk assessments and internal compliance checks
• Develop and update compliance policies and procedures
• Train staff on safety rules, workplace conduct, and compliance requirements
• Maintain accurate records for licenses, inspections, and audits
• Investigate incidents and support corrective actions when needed
• Provide guidance to staff and management on legal and ethical practices
• Support compliance activities across all shifts

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in compliance, food safety, quality control, or a related role
• Good understanding of food safety and health regulations
• Ability to document processes clearly and maintain records
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and training ability
• Willingness to work with a 24-hour shift system
• Candidates living close to Awolowo Bodija will be given preference

Salary

Monthly salary ranges from N120,000 to N180,000
