Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Compounding Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating compounding equipment, ensuring safe and efficient production of different products, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce all safety rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• Operate compounding equipment efficiently and safely.
• Ensure availability of raw materials in coordination with the Weighing Operator to meet production targets.
• Mix and compound emulsions and other products as required.
• Monitor equipment functionality and perform routine maintenance.
• Use correct weighed raw materials according to the Weighing Sheet and Work Instructions.
• Adhere to operational checklists and equipment SOPs.
• Minimize bulk waiting time at filling lines by optimizing mixer running time.
• Maintain proper documentation and follow the correct production processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• BSc or HND in Sciences or Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Production, or Chemical Engineering) – minimum of Second Class Lower.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in FMCG or cosmetics industries.
• Knowledge of SAP (materials requisition) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Excellence tools and technical projects.
• Proficient in computer applications such as MS Office.
• Experience in managing change processes in production environments.
