Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cook to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will prepare meals, maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene, and help ensure a smooth operation in a busy kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Cook dishes following established recipes and portion guidelines
• Check the quality, taste, and presentation of all meals before serving
• Store ingredients and finished food properly, including labeling and dating
• Reduce food waste by managing portions and inventory
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized at all times
• Follow strict hygiene and food safety practices
• Support and work closely with other kitchen staff to meet daily goals
• Help train new staff in kitchen processes and recipes
• Take part in taste tests to ensure consistency of flavors

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience as a cook or in a kitchen role
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Passion for cooking Nigerian meals

Salary

N100,000 per month
