Job Summary

We are seeking a highly creative and tech-savvy Creative Designer to be part of the marketing team. The role focuses on conceptualizing, designing, and delivering compelling visual content across different platforms. A major aspect of the position involves the use of AI-powered tools to drive creativity, efficiency, and innovative designs.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent eye for design, proficiency in traditional and AI-driven tools, and the ability to translate marketing goals into engaging visual concepts that resonate with target audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Concept Development

• Develop original designs for digital platforms including social media graphics, website banners, online ads, and email campaigns
• Create print designs such as brochures, flyers, and promotional materials
• Experiment with generative AI design tools to produce innovative concepts and visual elements
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align designs with campaign objectives and brand guidelines

Visual Content Creation

• Deliver high-quality designs including logos, illustrations, infographics, and layouts
• Produce short video content and motion graphics for digital platforms
• Enhance and optimize visuals using AI-powered image editing and upscaling tools
• Ensure brand consistency across all visual materials

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with marketing, content, and sales teams to create integrated campaigns
• Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively
• Contribute fresh ideas during brainstorming sessions, using AI tools where necessary

Trend Research and Innovation

• Stay up to date with design trends and emerging AI technologies in creative design
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve visual communication strategies

Asset Management and Optimization

• Maintain organized records of digital assets and design files
• Utilize AI-powered asset management features to streamline workflow

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Creative Designer or Graphic Designer, ideally in a marketing or advertising agency
• Strong portfolio showcasing digital, print, branding, and motion graphic work
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools such as Midjourney, DALL-E, Adobe Firefly, Canva Magic Studio, and Photoshop generative features
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and familiarity with Figma is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of typography, layout, and color theory
• Excellent conceptual thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Must reside in Lagos with availability for hybrid work arrangements
