Job Description

The Data Entry Intern will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate information in our digital database. The ideal candidate should have strong typing skills, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of data confidentiality. You will work closely with the data management team to ensure information is correctly stored and easily accessible.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and update information from paper documents into digital systems
• Input customer-provided data accurately and efficiently
• Create and maintain spreadsheets with large volumes of data
• Verify accuracy of information by cross-checking with source documents
• Retrieve requested data from databases and electronic files
• Perform regular backups to secure data and prevent loss
• Organize and manage records after data entry to maintain proper filing systems

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent
• Previous experience as a data entry clerk is an added advantage
• Strong typing speed, preferably touch-typing skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Familiarity with office equipment, computer hardware, and databases
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain data confidentiality
