Job Title: Data Entry Pharmacy Technician
Location: Agodi – Ibadan, Oyo
Job Summary
The Data Entry Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for accurately inputting prescription information into the pharmacy system. This role ensures the efficient processing of medication orders while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter prescription information, patient details, and insurance data into pharmacy systems with accuracy and efficiency
- Verify prescription orders for completeness, correctness, and compliance with regulations
- Communicate with prescribers, patients, and insurance companies to resolve data or coverage issues
- Maintain and update patient records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards
- Support pharmacists in preparing, labeling, and organizing medication orders
Requirements
- OND or HND in a relevant field (required)
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or state licensure where applicable
- Previous experience in pharmacy or healthcare data entry is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry
- Proficiency with pharmacy software systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 monthly
