About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-driven Design Architect (NYSC / Intern) to join our team. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic furniture manufacturing environment and gain practical experience while contributing to innovative design projects.

Responsibilities

• Work with the design team to create modern furniture concepts that align with the company’s vision and market needs
• Develop technical drawings, 3D models, and renderings to guide the production process
• Research new design trends, materials, and processes to bring fresh ideas into projects
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth design-to-production transition
• Apply safety, ergonomic, and industry standards in all design work
• Assist in selecting materials, finishes, and hardware with attention to quality, cost, and sustainability
• Contribute to design review sessions, offering practical improvements
• Support project delivery by meeting design deadlines

Requirements

• B.Sc., OND, or HND in Architecture or a related field
• 0–1 year experience in furniture design, ideally within a manufacturing environment
• Skilled in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Rhino
• Strong eye for design, detail, and functionality
• Good communication and teamwork skills
