Role Overview

We are hiring a Design Draftsperson who will be responsible for creating clear and accurate technical drawings for construction projects. This role involves working closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to translate design ideas into detailed drawings that meet required standards and support smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings, layouts, sections, and plans using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks
• Study and understand design briefs, sketches, and technical instructions from engineers and architects
• Ensure all drawings meet company and industry drafting standards
• Add correct dimensions, notes, materials, and technical details to drawings
• Review, update, and revise drawings when changes are required
• Organize drawing files and maintain proper version control
• Work closely with project teams to support design and construction activities
• Provide drafting assistance during construction when needed

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• At least 3 years of work experience as a Design Draftsperson or Draftsman in the construction sector
• Strong knowledge of CAD software and technical drawing standards
• High level of accuracy and good attention to detail
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Working Conditions

• Mainly office-based with occasional visits to project sites
• Full-time position, with the possibility of extended working hours during busy periods

Salary

Monthly salary of N300,000
